UNIMUH Makassar Announces Achievements in Scientific Journal Accreditation Period II 2025

The UGEC Journal and Publication Division of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar has once again achieved positive results in strengthening the quality of scientific publications through the success of several journals within Unismuh Makassar in the 2nd Period Scientific Journal Accreditation in 2025.

This achievement is the result of the consistent implementation of a program to support and strengthen journal governance by the UGEC Journal and Publication Division. This support includes editorial management evaluation, compliance with national accreditation standards, improving the quality of article content, and adjusting journal governance in accordance with Science and Technology Index (SINTA) regulations.

Based on the accreditation results, the journals of Unismuh Makassar have successfully obtained and maintained the following SINTA accreditation rankings:

2. Invoice: Journal of Accounting Science – SINTA 2
3. Jurnal Ar-Ribh – SINTA 3
4. Kybernology: Journal of Government Studies – SINTA 3
5. Journal of Profitability Management Science – SINTA 3
6. Amnesty: Journal of Taxation Research – SINTA 3
7. Jurnal Ekonomi Balance – SINTA 4
8. SIGMA: Journal of Mathematics Education – SINTA 5
9. Jurnal of Educational Media – SINTA 6

The achievement of Otoritas: Journal of Government Studies achieving SINTA 1 ranking is the highest achievement in this period and reflects the consistency of scientific journal management quality within Unismuh Makassar. Meanwhile, the achievements of other journals with various SINTA rankings demonstrate a continuous improvement in quality and the readiness of journal managers to meet national accreditation standards.

The UGEC Journal and Publication Division actively provides technical support to journal managers, covering aspects of editorial policy, peer review management, publication consistency, and fulfilling accreditation assessment indicators. This effort is part of a strategy to improve the quality and competitiveness of Unismuh Makassar's scientific journals.

This 2nd Period Scientific Journal Accreditation achievement in 2025 is expected to motivate all journal managers to continue improving the quality of scientific publications, strengthen academic integrity, and expand the visibility of journals nationally. The UGEC Journal and Publication Division will continue to promote the continuous improvement of journal quality as part of efforts to strengthen the academic reputation of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.
